"Bold and suggestive, melodic and reflective, the true essence of this album is its unrelenting pursuit of new ways to fuse the grit of blues, message of folk, and harmonic explorations of the classics and jazz into a novel soundscape. Rick's colorful guitar work, artful phrasing, and unshakable sense of rhythm inspire interesting dialogues and musical journeys throughout this album. The album is more like a good book you can't put down than anything else. The only difference is "All Things" seems to tell a different story with each listen."
